We’re hoping for a big roll up for the next BushCare day on Sunday, 6 September.
The recent heavy rains have flattened most of the wild ginger plants in the creek, and removing them at this time should be so much easier. Around now the Crofton Weed is getting established down towards the bridge and should be easy to remove.
We haven’t yet started working on the other side of the creek, apart from Privet removal, but we have an excellent opportunity to get a lot done easily, so if you haven’t been for a while, the work should be as easy as it can be.
We have had a large Coral Tree and some privet fall into the creek before the earlier rain at the north end of the site, and some securing and clearing the site around that area would be good.
So, hope to see you there on Sunday from around 9.00 am – 11.00 am.
